Larry A. Walck, CFP®, CRPC®
Certified Financial Planner ™
Larry is a financial advisor at Grandview Financial Group, where he leads in financial planning and investment management. He has always believed in the importance of setting goals and helps his clients create, plan for, and pursue their individual retirement objectives. In fact, one of Larry’s favorite quotes is “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal” by Earl Nightingale. This approach shines through in his interactions with clients as he listens attentively in preparing individualized plans that can lead to success.
Larry is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, and holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses through LPL Financial. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma and uses all of his professional experience, including 35 years in the department store industry, to guide and efficiently serve his clients. He truly enjoys teaching retirement planning classes part-time at UAB and couldn’t imagine having any other job because he understands and appreciates the importance of financial planning.
Outside of the office, Larry enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, ham radio, and traveling with his
wife, Michelle, to visit their three grandchildren. He is actively involved with Young Business
Leaders, where he is a small group leader and board member; the Hoover Civitan Club, where
he serves as Treasurer; the Boy Scouts of America, where he is a Unit Commissioner; President
of the OU Club of Birmingham and in his church.
