Chief Executive Officer, Certified Financial Planner™

Kelly has been with the Grandview family since 2015 and helps us manage the office, works with clients, and takes charge of business development and recruiting. She brings her past experience of high-end consulting to the firm and helps clients have discussions about their individual or business planning needs. She has worked extensively with start-ups and has been able to build business and client service skills along the way. Interestingly, she was a client of Grandview Financial Group before joining the team and now holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses through LPL Financial and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation.

Kelly enjoys her position because of the genuine care of the staff at the firm, the service, and the casual delivery of services. She understands that discussions about finance, money and investments can be challenging for some people and the firm’s approach helps take that overwhelming feeling away. Her mother always taught her that having strength, leadership, and taking care of those around you is a recipe for success and she lives by these values every day. Kelly considers herself a hard worker, relentless, and caring. She is also a natural-born problem solver.

Kelly and her husband, Bailey, are active members of First Church Birmingham where she serves on the Hospitality Committee and as Finance Director.

When not in the office, Kelly can likely be found spending time with family and friends at their lake house on Lake Wedowee, reading a book per month or working in the yard. She also enjoys listening to podcasts, traveling, walking her dogs, working out and Slice pizza!

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
