October is National Financial Planning Month
•Being so close with clients, it’s easy to forget sometimes that we are here for the financial planning part of things. I’ve always hesitated to say, “At GrandView, we take a holistic approach to financial planning,” because it sounds so buzzwordy. But honestly that’s exactly what we do.
We’re not just looking at investments or retirement accounts in isolation, we’re looking at the whole picture: your family, your goals, your health, your lifestyle, and the things that matter most to you. Holistic planning is about connecting the dots, so your finances support your life, not the other way around.
For some clients, that looks like coordinating retirement income with healthcare decisions, weaving estate planning into family conversations, or making sure saving for the future doesn’t get in the way of enjoying today. For others, planning simply means getting clarity around cash flow knowing the bills are covered, feeling confident about a big purchase, or having the freedom to say “yes” when opportunities come along.
That’s why we love what we do at GrandView. It’s about more than money. It’s about blending the numbers with real life in a way that helps you move your goals forward.
This month is a great reminder to pause and think: What’s one area of my financial life that could use more clarity? Maybe it’s organizing paperwork, updating your estate plan, or setting a savings target for something fun. Whatever it is, small steps now can add up to big wins later.
And of course, October also means Socktober our annual sock drive for the community. We love combining planning for the future with giving back in the present.
Thanks for trusting us to be part of your story here’s to clarity, progress, and make the most of these last few months of 2025.
